Description

Role Summary: Beach Park Line cooks prepare all menu items to specified quality levels and ensure safe food handling procedures for the safety of guest.

Duties: 

  • Must be willing to accept the most effective role, as determined by management. 

  • Makes guest service and guest satisfaction a priority in every aspect of the job. 

  • Prepares all menu items to specified quality levels. 

  • Inspects food preparation and serving areas to ensure sanitary food-handling practices. 

  • Serves guest with a sense of urgency. 

  • Controls serving portions of meals. 

  • Controls food inventory. 

  • Must maintain a clean, organized work area and complete end-of-shift cleaning duties.  

  

Qualifications: 

  • Must be 18 years old. 

  • Must have prior food preparation experience. 

  • Must be willing to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate prior.  

  

Physical Requirements: 

  • Walking to and from your entire assigned area and stairs when necessary. 

  • Standing for extended periods of time. 

  • Must be able to withstand direct and indirect exposure to sun and heat for extended periods of time. 

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. 

  • Must frequently use arms, hands and fingers to reach and handle tools and controls.
