Description

Role Summary:        Our Food and Beverage Kitchen Manager will require great communication, organizational, and leadership skills, in addition to basic culinary skills.  The desired candidate will have supervisory experience in a quick service style restaurant or high volume kitchen.  The Food and Beverage  Kitchen Manager will be primarily responsible for the Food and Beverage Operations of our main operating kitchen.  In addition, the desired candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all Beach Park F&B standards, company values and daily goals are achieved.

Duties:

  • Willingness to accept the most effective role.
  • Providing guests with exceptional service.
  • Ensuring that all Beach Park F&B standards, company values and daily goals are achieved.
  • Monitoring cleaning rotation schedule on the daily basis.
  • Assisting the team with Cashier and Cook duties during high volume times.
  • Training, developing and coaching staff.
  • Monitoring portioning and ensure quality food preparation to control food, beverage and other supplies costs. Implement and enforce FIFO at all times.
  • Assisting with all aspects of inventory control, including ordering, receiving, counting and forecasting.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of food stand areas; stock and prepare food items as required.
  • Monitoring volume in food locations to maximize productivity and keep labor costs within budget.
  • Verifying and supervising food locations are prepared for the next day.
  • Maintaining proper daily documentation.

Qualifications:

Ø Must be at least 18 years of age.

Ø Must be friendly and outgoing with a high customer service acumen.

Ø Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Ø 3+ years of Food and Beverage experience.

Ø 2+ years in a supervisory role.

Ø Food Safety certification is required..

  • Must be willing and able to work long summer hours, holidays and weekends throughout the year.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Word & Excel and an understanding of basic accounting policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in TOAST (or similar restaurant management software), including experience with order management, POS systems, inventory tracking, and reporting features. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to efficiently navigate the software to support day-to-day operations and enhance customer service workflows.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing with or without movement for extended periods of time.
  • Exposure to sun and high temperatures, working outdoors for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, push up to 50lbs and lift up to 20lbs.
  • Must frequently use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
